#303 - rhapsody in b
08/26/02 @ 9:25 pm

Have you ever had a moment that just changed everything?

Before going to bed last night, I asked myself, what would perfection be? The perfect world? Utopia?

It would be two worlds. By day, everyone would have gossamer wings, and light would be everywhere. Everything would be pale and light and airy and we would float and frolick and play and dance and sing poetry. Everyone would sound like angels, when they smiled, it would envoke laughter, and when they laughed, they would charm beasts. Everyone would be in harmony and be happy and smile. We would float and touch the world with all our being, our fingers, our toes, our consciousness, everything. And everything would be perfect.

And at night, we would merely change costume. We would be dark and red and voluptous and sexual and sensual and deep and witty and amusing and intelligent and breathtakingly sinful and delicious. Life would taste of sex and chocolate. We could feast on honeyed air, orgasm from a laugh, a look, a flick of the wrist. Music would swirl and caress, and we would eat drink, roll in each others thoughts and tongues and arms and hair. Everything would be soft and velvety and smooth and perfect and rich.

And in the morning the dawn would greet us with music and the perfect life would start all over again, with laughter and joy.

And today, I found the music that makes me feel like I can somehow tell you what it all means. That it's possible. That life and love and vision and intelligence are the ultimate experience, the way life should be, the meaning we need to find in everything. The reason why we're here is to be here, to experience this.

Please laugh and sing and be merry and touch and cry in joy. Please listen to Drowning Hazel. He helps us realize that perfection is within our grasp. All we have to do is breath it, dream it, be it.

Faeries. Devils. Angels. Majic is real. It's all around us. Amen.
